Warehouse pack, coming

A task app for warehouses: a photo before the vehicle leaves.

When a customer says the boxes arrived damaged, a warehouse needs to know what the load looked like when it left. Most have a few chat photos and somebody’s memory. Task Bundals can ask for that photo as proof on every job. The ready Warehouse pack is not written yet, and this page says plainly what works today without it.

Where the pack stands

The Warehouse pack is coming.

Four packs are ready: Office and agency, Restaurant, Retail shop and Manufacturing. Warehouse is one of eight that are listed as coming. There is no date, and nothing in it can be added to a branch yet.

What works today. Giving work in one line, proof by photo, file, link or number, the reminder ladder, problems, and checklists you write yourself.
Two lists you can borrow. The Manufacturing pack has a goods inward check and a dispatch check. Both are shown below, in full.
You change every line. A borrowed list becomes your own checklist the moment you add it to a branch.

Goods in, goods out.

These two lists were written for a factory store, and they fit a warehouse as they are: a photo of the delivery challan and the quantity against the purchase order on the way in, the boxes counted and a photo of the loaded vehicle on the way out.

A supervisor’s day

Say the job. See the photo.

A supervisor gives each job in one line: who, by when, and “photo”. The person on the floor gets a link, does the job and sends the picture from the same page. A paper register, such as the vehicle register at the gate, can become a sheet filled from a phone.

Say the job in one line and ask for a photo: the loaded vehicle, the stacked bay, the sealed box. The photo comes back on the same link.

A register you keep on paper becomes a sheet filled from a phone. Put a limit on a number column and a value outside it is marked.

A staff member’s day

One link for one job.

A loader or a store keeper installs nothing and has no password. Each job is its own link.

A delivery arrives. Photo of the challan, quantity typed in, and one choice: matches, short or excess.
A load goes out. Boxes counted against the invoice, labels checked, a photo of the loaded vehicle, and the vehicle number.
Something is wrong. A damaged box or a broken trolley is reported from the same page and goes to the supervisor as a problem.
Missed work

It climbs, so you do not chase.

If a job is not done, a reminder for the person comes up before the due time and again at the due time, for the supervisor to share. Then the supervisor is told. Then the work is marked missed and the owner is told. You set the timings once.

Plainly

What it does, and what it does not.

Task Bundals is not a warehouse management system. It records that a job was given, done and proved.

What it does
Gives a job in one line and asks for a photo as proof.
Runs your own checklist for a vehicle or a bay, with a tick, a number, a photo or a file on each line.
Records goods in and goods out with the two lists borrowed from the Manufacturing pack.
Tracks a problem such as a damaged box or a broken pallet truck to fixed.
What it does not do
There is no Warehouse pack yet. It is coming, and nothing is written for it.
It is not a stock system. No bins, no barcodes, no stock levels.
It does not track vehicles. Location is taken only at a tap, and only if the person allows it.
It makes no invoices or challans. A list can ask for a photo of one.

Questions warehouses ask

There is no date. It is listed as coming and nothing is written for it yet. This page shows only what works without it.
Yes. A checklist is a list of lines, and each line asks for one kind of proof: a tick, a number with limits, a photo, a file, a line of text, or one choice from a few. It can run every day, on chosen days of the week, or when you start it.
The manager shares it in a message from their own number. Staff install nothing and need no password: the link opens one page for that piece of work.
No. Location is asked for only at an attendance punch or a visit tap, and only if the person allows it. Nobody is tracked in the background, and the page says so.
Not yet. Sign-up is not open, and the Start free page says so. Until it opens you can read how it works and look at every app on the apps page, or write to info@bundals.com.
