Problems, one of the 24 apps

A problem reporting app for staff: three taps, then someone owns it.

A broken printer, a missing file, a customer who is waiting. Staff usually know first and say it in a chat group, where it sinks. In Task Bundals every work link has a “Report a problem” button. The problem lands with the manager, gets a person and a fix-by time, and stays open until someone checks the fix.

Both ends

Reported from a phone. Tracked on a board.

The staff member does not log in and installs nothing. The manager sees every open problem of the branch in three columns.

What the staff member sees

Behind “Report a problem” on any work link: six choices, a few words, an optional photo.

What is the problem?
Computer or machine not working
Something I need is missing

Where a problem can come from

Five ways in, one list.

However it is raised, a problem ends up on the same board.

From a staff link. “Report a problem”, pick what is wrong, add a few words and a photo, “Send to the manager”.
From a manager. “Raise a problem” in the portal, with details, a fix-by time and a photo.
From proof that failed a check. The approval card has a “Raise a problem” button.
From a checklist or an audit. A failed line or a finding can raise one by itself, if you switch that on.
From a QR sticker. The Assets app prints a sticker for a machine; the page behind it has “Report a breakdown”.
From new to closed

Fixed is not closed until someone checks.

A problem moves through four states, and the last step belongs to a second look.

New. The manager presses “Give to someone” and sets who will fix it and by when.
Being fixed. The fix-by time turns red when it passes.
Fixed, waiting for check. After “Mark fixed”, with a note on what was done and the cost, if any.
Closed. With a closing note. Or “Not fixed”, which sends it back.
Plainly

What it does, and what it does not.

It is for the problems inside your own team that stop work from getting done.

What it does
Takes a problem from a staff member on the work link they already have.
Gives each problem a person, a fix-by time and, if you want, a cost.
Waits for a check before a fixed problem is closed.
Flags a problem raised 3 times in 30 days at one branch.
What it does not do
It is not a customer help desk. It is for problems inside your own team.
It pays nobody. A cost is a record of what the fix cost.
It does not phone anyone. The page tells staff to call as well if it is urgent.
It keeps staff out of the list. Only the owner and managers open Problems.

The manager of that branch sees it in the portal under Problems, and a note appears under Reminders. If it is urgent the page tells the person to call as well.
The Feedback app has a page a customer can open from a link, with no name asked. It is a separate app from Problems.
Yes. The Assets app prints a QR sticker for an asset, and the page behind it has a “Report a breakdown” button.
