Checklists, one of the 24 apps

An opening and closing checklist app for whoever is on shift today.

A shop, an office or a kitchen opens and closes every day, whether the owner is there or not. Task Bundals gives the opening list to the opening shift and the closing list to the closing shift, asks for a photo or a number on the lines that matter, and shows you each branch’s run.

These lists are copied from the ready pack in the Library. It is a starting point in plain words, not legal or safety advice, and every time and limit in them is an example for you to change.
Who gets it

Given to a shift, not to a name.

An opening routine should not stop because one person is on leave. In the checklist you choose “Whoever is on a shift” and name the shift.

With a roster. The list goes to whoever the Roster app has on that shift that day. People on leave or on a weekly off are left out.
Without a roster. It goes to a person whose shift in the Team app has that name.
Nobody on the shift. It goes to the person named on the checklist, so it never goes to no one.
The link. A run is made one hour before its time, and a note tells the manager it is ready to share.
When a line fails

A failed line waits for a person.

A number outside its limit, or a must-do line left out, is a failed line. The run then sits under “Needs review” until a manager opens it and marks it as checked.

A problem, if you want one. Each checklist has a switch: if a line fails, raise a problem by itself.
Missed is visible. A run nobody sends by the end of its day is marked missed.
Other trades. The Restaurant pack has an opening and a closing checklist, and the Manufacturing pack has a shift start machine check and a shift end check.
Plainly

What it does, and what it does not.

It makes sure the routine is asked for and recorded every day. The work itself is still done by a person.

What it does
Runs the opening and the closing list every day, or on the days of the week you choose.
Gives each list to a shift, so it reaches whoever is on that shift today.
Asks for the right proof per line: a tick, a number with limits, a photo, a file, a line of text or one choice.
Marks a run as Done, Needs review or Missed, for each branch.
What it does not do
It does not lock a door or read a meter. A person does the work and records it.
It is not safety or legal advice. The ready lists are examples for you to change.
It does not send the link by itself. A manager shares it from their own number.
It is not a billing or stock system. A cash line records what was counted.

Questions about opening and closing lists

The list is given to a shift, not to one name. If you keep a roster it goes to whoever is on the Opening shift that day; otherwise to a person whose shift in Team has that name.
Yes. When you add a list from the Library to a branch it becomes an ordinary checklist. You can change its lines, its proof, its time and who it goes to.
A run nobody sends by the end of its day is marked missed, and it shows as Missed under “Today’s runs”.
The manager shares it in a message from their own number, with the Share button or by copying the message. Staff install nothing and need no password: the link opens one page for that piece of work.
Prices are coming soon. Unlimited usage, no per user charge, no per client charge, no setup fee. The pricing page will carry the prices when they are set.
Not yet. Sign-up is not open, and the Start free page says so. Until it opens you can read these lessons and look at every app on the apps page, or write to info@bundals.com.
